Native in the Southwestern U.S and Northwest Mexico its a very tall but slow growing cactus. It takes about 150 years to reach its impressive stature of over 40 feet. The saguaro is non the less a beautiful columnar cactus. Moderately easy to grow, it requires good drainage as they are sensitive to waterlogging.
