Opuntia monacantha variegata, commonly known as Variegated Joseph's Coat, is a vibrant member of the Opuntia species. This shrubby or tree-like cactus is popular among plant enthusiasts due to its unique variegation and striking appearance. The cactus has interesting green and cream white variegation with yellow, green and sometimes pink in its branches. One of the few natural occurring white cacti. sometimes flushed with pink. It can grow up to 20 feet tall and produces yellow to deep orange flowers in the late spring and summer months.

Thrives in full sun exposure. It requires plenty of sunlight to maintain its vibrant variegation and overall health. While it can tolerate partial shade, optimal growth and blooming are achieved with full sun.
