Mammillaria marksiana

Mammillaria marksiana is a compact, easy-care Mexican cactus ideal for sunny windowsills, small spaces, and curated cactus or succulent collections. This slow-growing Mammillaria features a rounded, bright green body with geometric tubercles, soft white wool, and golden-yellow to brown spines. In late winter and early spring, a ring of small greenish-yellow flowers adds seasonal color around the crown. Typically solitary when young, the plant may produce offsets and form an attractive cluster as it matures. For healthy growth, place Mammillaria marksiana in bright light, use gritty, fast-draining cactus soil, and water thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry. Keep it nearly dry during winter dormancy.
